Does AptApply charge any fees?

There is no cost to you for using AptApply – it’s completely free to use. All application fees are paid by the applicant. 

Can I generate revenue by using AptApply?

If the laws of your state allow it, you can monetize your AptApply account by charging a fee above our default of $49 and keeping the difference. You will need a Stripe account to take advantage of this opportunity. 

What information do we collect from applicants?

We partner with Equifax and Search Bug to provide a detailed credit and criminal/background check to US residents based on their Social Security number. If an applicant is not a US citizen or does not have a Social Security number they can still submit an application but only a criminal/background check will be provided.  We do not store or display the Social Security number in our reports. 

No, we do not require a contract. You can work with us on a month-to-month or on a longer term contract basis to provide savings on transaction costs.

The default charged to the applicant is $49 but the maximum fee will vary by the laws of each state. Some states allow you to set your own fee, others are limited to the costs involved in securing the screening information, and states like New York, Vermont and Wisconsin have their own set price. Condeto already accounts for these laws on our platform. 

We process all transactions and remit all payments in real-time.
